FOOT REFLEXOLOGY
-
Reflexology is a touch technique based on the theory that the systems and organs in the body have corresponding touchpoints, originally on the feet and, more recently defined, on the hands and face.
In a reflexology session I work those areas with my fingers and thumbs, both to identify areas that might be out of balance and to rebalance them.
Reflexology has a cumulative effect on the body, often subtle, session by session, gently helping the body turn back towards a state of ease and balance.
-
Reflexology can help with stress, anxiety, headaches, migraines, chronic pain, digestive disorders, insomnia, hormonal imbalances, menopause, back pain, fatigue, and poor circulation. It is also beneficial for boosting overall well-being and balancing the body’s energy.
-
Reflexology is generally safe for most people. However, those with certain conditions like open wounds, infections, or severe circulatory problems should consult their healthcare provider before treatment. Side effects are rare but may include slight dizziness or tenderness after the session. Most people feel instantly energised, positive and calmer.

While reflexology is not a cure or replacement for medical treatment, research suggests it may offer a range of supportive health benefits, particularly when used as a complementary therapy.
A reflexologist does not diagnose, cure or prescribe.
